ALMOST HIP FAN PAGES

STRATFORD OVATION MUSIC FESTIVAL
SEPTEMBER 9, 2006

It started with an idea and a Hallowe'en Party in STRATFORD
at the local ARMOURY back in 1993. The FIRST band he booked
was ALMOST HIP !!
Since then Chris Parson has gone on to form
STANDING OVATION PRODUCTIONS and has grown
into one of the BIGGEST promoters in Canada.
Chris has TRUELY come FULL CIRCLE !!!

I went to the HIP show on Saturday and caught up with him and
as well many others including Paul Woods (MACH 1),
my HIPBASERS friends and ALMOST HIP FANS from the
nearby cities we play in the area.

Was NOT interested in getting TOO close as the place was packed with
more than 25,000 HIP fans !! According to JAM Magazine on Canoe.

There were 3 screens to watch the band on and that was good enough for me !
